The word 'lip-smacking' may have been invented to describe Rasmalai. The name ras malai comes from two words in Hindi: ras, meaning "juice", and malai, meaning "cream". Ras malai consists of sugary white cream, or yellow-coloured (flattened) balls of chhana soaked in malai. Follow our easy-to-make recipe to quickly prepare the dish. Enjoy at Diwali!

Helath Matters

Do you wish to run long distance or marathon one day and don't know where to start?

Remember the Chinese quote, a journey of thousand miles begins with a single step. Start by getting into a habit of walking 15 minutes a day, and add time, distance, and intensity from there. The additions should be challenging but not excessive. Have your walking do more for you by adding interval pattern to it. It is an extremely time-efficient and productive way to exercise. Interval exercising involves walking for two minutes, running for two, and alternating this pattern throughout the duration of a workout.

Accumulating 60 minutes or more a day of low-to moderate-intensity physical activity, such as walking, running, or dancing is a good cardio/aerobic exercise. Do it for at least five days a week for optimum fitness and vigor. And make it fun by engaging in it with your family or friends. Thus you would motivate and help develop healthy habits in them as well. Also, several studies have shown that a person continues with an activity that she enjoys.
