Chocolate Mousse

Chocolate Mousse
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 thin slice of soft unsalted butter
  • 15 pieces of dark chocolate
  • 1/5 cup hot water
  • 1 cup double cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract.
  1. Put the marshmallows, butter, chocolate and water in a heavy-based saucepan.
  2. Put the saucepan over low heat, to melt the contents, stir continuously.
  3. Once the contents melt, let it cool.
  4. Then whip the cream with the vanilla extract until thick, and then fold into the cooling chocolate mixture until you have a smooth, cohesive mixture.
  5. Pour into the glasses, and chill them.
  6. Remove only before eating.
